Dev Sanskriti University has implemented the National Education Policy (NEP) from the academic year 2023. The NEP has been prepared under the guidance of Chancellor Dr. Pranav Pandya, Vice-Chancellor Shri Sharad Paradi, and Pro-Chancellor Dr. Chinmay Pandya. The university has adopted the major-minor model as per the December 2022 guidelines, which was prepared with the assistance of NEP expert Prof. Nitesh Purohit from IIT Prayagraj. Prof. Suresh Varnawal familiarized the participants with the background of NEP and its preparations in the university. Prof. Sukhnandan Singh shed light on the implementation of the major-minor model, its outcomes, and course design in the university. Dr. Saurabh Mishra discussed various guidelines related to NEP and acquainted the participants with their main points.
To familiarize all the university faculty and staff members with NEP, a three-day NEP workshop was organized from May 21st to May 23rd. The workshop was chaired by Secretary Shri Baldau Dewangan and Dean Academics Prof. Ishwar Bharadwaj, where Prof. Suresh Varnawal provided practical training on curriculum development and assessment methods based on the outcomes of the course. On the first day, workshops were conducted for the heads, coordinators, and their assistants of various departments, while on the second day, workshops were organized for other teachers and research scholars of those departments. The workshop focused on the outcome-based curriculum development and practical training on evaluation methods. The final day, May 23rd, featured a workshop for non-academic staff members. It should be noted that the admission process for various undergraduate programs under NEP is currently underway at Dev Sanskriti University.
The three-day workshop extensively deliberated on the National Education Policy, emphasizing the holistic development of students. It was emphasized that the policy has been formulated considering the fundamental and comprehensive development of students. It provides the freedom to study one major program along with an optional program (minor) according to their interest and requirements. Additionally, it includes provisions for multi-disciplinary, language-based AEC, and skill-based programs. The curriculum also incorporates values based courses on Indian culture and tradition. Overall, the students graduating from these programs will embody the student’s perspective throughout their lives and contribute as subject experts and cultured citizens in the development of society and the nation. The workshop addressed the queries of all participants appropriately.
देवसंस्कृति विश्वविद्यालय में नवीन सत्र वर्ष 2023 से नेशनल एज्यूकेशन पॉलिसी ;एनईपीद्ध लागू की जा रही हैए जिसे कुलाधिपति डॉण् प्रणव पण्ड्या के मार्गदर्शन एवं कुलपति श्री शरद पारदी तथा प्रतिकुलपति डॉण् चिन्मय पण्ड्या के निर्देशन में तैयार किया गया है। देवसंस्कृति विश्वविद्यालय एनईपी की दिसम्बर 2022 गाइडलाइन के अनुरुप मेजर.माइनर मॉडल को अपना रहा हैए जिसको तैयार करने में आईआईआईटी प्रयागराज से जुड़े एनईपी विशेषज्ञ प्रोण् नीतेश पुरोहित की विशेष भूमिका रहीए जिन्होंने यूजीसी गाइडलाइन के अनुरुप क्रेडिट वितरण एवं पाठ्यक्रम की रचना में सहयोग किया। एनईपी आधारित इस पाठ्यक्रम की बोर्ड ऑफ स्टडीज मीटिंग्ज हो चुकी हैं व पाठ्यक्रम अकादमिक काउंसिल से पास हो चुका है व जुलाई 2023 से प्रारम्भ हो रहे सत्र से इसको लागू किया जा रहा है।
विश्वविद्यालय के सभी शिक्षकों व स्टाफ सदस्यों को एनईपी से परिचित करवाने के उद्देश्य से 21 से 23 मई तक तीन दिवसीय एनण्ईण्पीण् कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गयाए जिसमें अकादमिक एवं गैर.अकादमिक स्टाफ सदस्यों ने भाग लिया। कार्यशाला कुलसचिव श्री बलदाऊ देवांगन एवं डीन एकेडमिक्स प्रोण् ईश्वर भरद्वाज की अध्यक्षता में सम्पन्न हुईए जिसमें प्रोण् सुरेश वर्णवाल ने एनण्ईण्पीण् की पृष्ठभूमि व देसंविवि में इसकी तैयारियों से परिचित करवाया। प्रोण् सुखनन्दन सिंह ने देसंविवि में इसके अंतर्गत लागू मेजर.माइनर मॉडलए इनके आउटकम स्वरुप व कोर्स डिजायन पर प्रकाश डाला। डॉण् सौरभ मिश्रा ने एनईपी से जुड़ी विभिन्न गाइडलाइन्ज की चर्चा की व इनके मुख्य विंदुओं से प्रतिभागियों को अवगत कराया।
21 मई 2023 के पहले दिन विभिन्न विभागों के अध्यक्षए समन्वयक एवं इनके सहायकों की कार्यशाला आयोजित हुईए जबकि दूसरे दिन इन विभागों के अन्य शिक्षकों व शोध छात्रों की कार्य़शाला सम्पन्न हुईए जिसमें शिक्षकों को पाठ्यक्रम के आउटकम आधारित पाठ्यक्रम निर्माण व उनके मूल्याँकन विधि का व्यवहारिक प्रशिक्षण दिया गया। अंतिम दिन 23 मई को गैर.शैक्षणिक स्टॉफ सदस्यों की कार्यशाला आयोजित हुई। विदित हो कि देवसंस्कृति में एनईपी के अंतर्गत स्नातक स्तर के विविध पाठ्यक्रमों में प्रवेश की प्रकिया जारी है।
तीन दिवसीय कार्य़शाला में राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति पर विस्तारपूर्वक गहन मंथन हुआए जिसमें स्पष्ट हुआ कि राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति का निर्माण विद्यार्थियों के मौलिक एवं समग्र विकास को ध्यान में रखकर किया गया है। इसमें एक मुख्य पाठ्यक्रम ;मेजरद्ध के साथ अपनी रुचि व आवश्यकता के अनुरुप एक वैकल्पिक पाठ्यक्रम ;माइनरद्ध को पढ़ने की स्वतंत्रता दी गई है। साथ ही मल्टीडिस्पिलनरीए भाषागत व कौशल आधारित पाठ्यक्रमों की इसमें विशेष व्यवस्था है। भारतीय संस्कृति एवं परम्परा के अनुरुप विषयों एवं मूल्यों का भी इसमें समावेश है। कुल मिलाकर इससे निकले छात्र.छात्राएं जीवन पर्यन्त विद्यार्थी भाव को धारण कर विषय विशेषज्ञ व सभ्य.सुसंस्कृत नागरिक के रुप में समाज व राष्ट्र के निर्माण में
सहायक होंगे। कार्यशाला में सभी प्रतिभागियों की जिज्ञासाओं का समुचित समाधान किया गया।
