40 people participated in the 10-day workshop for guide training at the Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya district level.
A guide training workshop was organized at the Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya district level.
This 10-day workshop is being jointly organized by INTACH Institute along with the Department of Tourism, Government of Uttarakhand & Garhwal University. Along with the District Tourism Office, the Department of Travel & Tourism Management, Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya has an active role in this workshop. During the inaugural ceremony of the workshop, Dr. Chinmay Pandya Ji said that Guides are the carriers of our culture. If they are trained in the spiritual aspect of culture, that will result in the confluence of Indian culture and heritage. Honourable Dr. Chinmay Pandya Ji explained the purity and spiritual subtlety of the divine land of Uttarakhand.
The chief guest of the event Assistant Director, Tourism Department Mrs. Poonam Chand, said that our culture can be protected by skilled and cultural protectors. She was also influenced by the lush green and divine campus of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya.
District Tourism Development Officer Mr. Suresh Chandra Yadav discussed Uttarakhand tourism. 40 Participants along with 10 staff members from Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya and nearby places participated in the workshop.
The workshop will last from April 30 to May 9, 2023. At the closing session Head of the department, Dr. Arunesh Parashar and Dr. Umakant Indoliya expressed their vote of thanks to the participants and honoured the Chief Guest.
Mr. Ashish Kumar, Mr. Prakhar Pal and Kumari Prachi etc. teachers were in the program. Mr. Pankaj Chandel was the event moderator from the Department of travel & Tourism Management, Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya.
