Yoga and Ayurveda are ancient sciences that originated in India. Several scientific researched are being conducted on their vast benefits when practiced regularly. As Ayurveda and Yoga are interrelated, they together encompass healing capabilities in the body. On one hand, Ayurveda rejuvenates the body; and on the other, Yoga fosters purification of the mind and consciousness through asanas (physical movement), dhyaan (meditation) and pranayama (breathing techniques). Thus, together they both complement and embrace each other and to explore this field of science, many have come to India for the same purpose.
In Uttarakhand, at Haridwar’s Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, a lot of research has been conducted. Our Respected Pro Vice-Chancellor Sir, Dr. Chinmay Pandya Ji, has provided his esteemed guidance to many such people from various countries. Thus, to gain this precious knowledge about the field, a group of 13 people from Washington, America had travelled to Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya as a part of their week-long workshop. Upon their arrival, the members of the group met with Respected Pro-Vice Chancellor Sir and received his guidance.
