DSVV Yoga Team Shines at Inter-University National Yoga Competition

A 14-member yoga team from Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya (DSVV), Haridwar, participated in the Inter-University National Yoga Competition held at Rajiv Gandhi University, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. DSVV’s women’s team secured second place in the group category. In the individual events, Jyoti Kumari won a silver medal and Shweta won a bronze medal, once again bringing recognition to Uttarakhand and the university.
On the team’s return to Haridwar, they received a warm welcome from the university family, including Chancellor Dr. Pranav Pandya, Vice-Chancellor [Sharad Pardhi / Pradhi — please confirm spelling], Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. Chinmay Pandya, Registrar [Baldau/Baldev] Dewangan, and the Dean of Student Welfare.

He praised the girls’ team for embracing the principles of yoga in their own lives and encouraged all students to do the same.
