The Yoga Festival was organized by Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya under the joint aegis of Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga and Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. This program was carried out on the theme of Pragya Yoga, which reached door to door, country became its own health.

This program of Yogotsav was organized by the University under the Yoga Protocol exercise on the occasion of Yoga Day. The program was organized at Chaudhary Charan Singh Ghat in Haridwar itself.

The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Respected Shri Sharad Pardhi ji, Respected Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr Chinmay Pandya Ji, Respected Registrar Shri Baldau Devangan ji, came as the chief guest in the program. The entire event was presided over by the Head of the Department of Yoga, Dr Suresh Baranwal.

During the program, respected Vice-Chancellor Shri Sharad Pardhi ji said, “Today we together need to advance our culture, our civilization on the auspicious occasion of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence and Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya is making continuous efforts for this.” On the other hand, Respected Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr Chinmay Pandya Ji said during his speech that if our mind is pure, our actions are pure, then this is the basis of yoga. At the same time, he said that efforts should be made to bring the basic spirit of our humanity through Yogaotsav into our lives.

Between the Amrit Festival of the country and the golden jubilee of Shantikunj, through this Yogotsav program, an attempt was made to advance its culture along with public awareness among the people.
