In the 40th Gyan Diksha ceremony of the university, the newly entered students took their first step towards service to society and the nation and tied them in the Vedic sutras.

510 newly admitted students of the country and abroad from 40 different subjects operating in the university were initiated. Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, the chief guest of the Gyan Diksha ceremony, said that this time is precious, the more you practice it, the more it will improve. The work that is going on in this university to learn and teach the teachers and students together is important. I myself am a student of politics right now.

At the same time, the hon’ble Chief minister said that this university has taken the shape of a banyan tree, which is also doing the work of giving light to all. After studying here, you become a true and good human being, and all of you will have an important contribution to building a new India, a capable India, a strong India.

Earlier, Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami ji paid his tribute at the wall of bravery built in memory of the brave martyrs.

Revered Dr Pranav Pandya, the Chancellor of the University, presided over the function. Joining online, he said in his address that Gyan Diksha Sanskar is going to give new life to the students. This is the best opportunity to bring spirituality in life. He said that in addition to the curriculum, the art of living is taught here, which helps in raising the students.

Along with this, revered Chancellor Dr. Pranav Pandya ji also said that there is a need to make many great men like Swami Vivekananda, rich in determination, Pujya Gurudev Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya ji, who taught through his conduct, as their role models.

Vice Chancellor Shri Sharad Pardhi ji delivered the welcome address. Respected Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr. Chinmay Pandya ji while stating the importance of initiation of knowledge said that today there is a need of personality, not of a person. Not a policy, but a need.
