DSVV Signs MoU with Institute for Academic Excellence (IAE), Hyderabad to Promote Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS)

Haridwar, Uttarakhand —DSVV and the Institute for Academic Excellence (IAE) based in Hyderabad have recently joined forces to promote Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS). This collaboration represents a major stride towards integrating ancient Indian wisdom into modern academic disciplines, aligning with the objectives outlined in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

As per the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), DSVV will develop specialized courses spanning 2 to 4 credits across a wide array of subjects such as science, arts, commerce, and business administration. These courses will be customized to cater to the requirements of IAE’s network of institutions, serving as either integral components of the curriculum or supplementary value-added programs. Upon completion, students will receive certifications in accordance with UGC regulations.

Expert faculty from DSVV will deliver these courses using a blended learning approach, offering flexibility and convenience to both institutions. The courses will undergo approval by DSVV’s Board of Studies or other relevant authorities to ensure the highest academic standards.

In this partnership, IAE will act as a facilitator, leveraging its extensive network of educational institutions to connect with DSVV’s academic offerings. With its proficiency in advisory services related to ranking, assessment, accreditation, and capacity building, IAE will collaborate with DSVV to conduct workshops, seminars, and special lectures aimed at advancing the implementation of IKS and enhancing the overall educational experience.

This collaboration represents a significant step to infuse contemporary academic frameworks with the profound wisdom of India’s ancient knowledge systems.

Haridwar, Uttarakhand — Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar and Hyderabad-based Institute for Academic Excellence (IAE) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote Indian Knowledge System (IKS). This collaboration is a significant step towards integrating ancient Indian knowledge with modern academic disciplines, in line with the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

Under the agreement, DSU will set up special courses of 2 to 4 credits in various subjects like science, arts, commerce and business administration. These courses will be designed as per the requirements of the network of IAE institutes. They will be part of the core curriculum or will work as optional programs. On completion of these courses, students will be awarded certificates as per the rules of UGC.

These courses will be implemented by the teachers of the university through blended learning method, which will be convenient for both the institutions. The courses will be approved by the university’s Board of Studies or other relevant authorities to ensure the highest academic standards.

In this agreement, IAE will play the role of a convener, paving the way for linkages with the academic programmes of DDU through its wide network of academic institutions. With its expertise in consultancy services related to ranking, assessment, accreditation and capacity building, IAE will work with DDU to organize workshops, seminars and special lectures aimed at operationalizing the Indian knowledge tradition and enriching the overall educational experience.
