A team of researchers from Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya and IIT Delhi reported that yoga and Ayurveda can be effective in treating high-risk cases of COVID-19.

A team of researchers from Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya and IIT Delhi reported that yoga and Ayurveda can be effective in treating high-risk cases of COVID-19.

In addition to the standard care treatment as per the guidelines, the patients were prescribed Ayurvedic medicines through telemedicine and conducted a personalized therapeutic yoga program using video conferencing. Almost all patients are classified as high risk due to one or more co-morbidities such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, chronic kidney disease, and coronary artery disease (which are known to lead to severe consequences in cases of COVID-19) went. and/or above 60 years of age.

The treatment given to patients was individualized (according to classical texts) and took into account each patient’s medical history and presented symptoms, which made it more effective than a fixed standardized treatment plan.

Sri Krishna Sweets, conceptualized by Sri Murali of Bharatmengam Bharati, Chennai, a pan-India program for national integration, was organized at Deva Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya in association with All World Gayatri Pariwar.

This mega project has been organized in memory of the 100th anniversary of Mahakavi Subramanya Bharati.

The program started auspiciously with the performance of Gayatri Yagya for the welfare of humanity and a special speech on ‘Bharti and Divya Prakash’ by Mrs. KV Subha Advocate and Harikatha artist from Chennai. She presented the essence of Gayatri Mantra from the works of Bharati.

Respected Pro-Vice Chancellor of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya Dr Chinmay Pandya ji spoke on the greatness of India and appreciated Mr Murali of Krishna Sweets for his good work of spreading his message.

Hon’ble Justice S. Rajeswaran Lal Judge Madras High Court, Smt. Meenaka IAS, Kalaimamani Shri Murali CMD, Shri Krishna Sweets shared their wishes online to be the guest of honour of the programme.

Shri Satheesh Ramakrishnan Member YACD delivered the inaugural address. The program was well attended by the audience who were Gayatri seekers, researchers on inner consciousness and university students.

The project was conducted in association with Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Chennai Centre, Tamil Matrimony and YACD Trust, Gopalapuram.

Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, the chief guest of the Gyan Diksha ceremony, said that this time is precious, the more you practice it, the more it will improve. The work that is going on in this university to learn and teach the teachers and students together is important. I myself am a student of politics right now.

At the same time, the hon’ble Chief minister said that this university has taken the shape of a banyan tree, which is also doing the work of giving light to all. After studying here, you become a true and good human being, and all of you will have an important contribution to building a new India, a capable India, a strong India.
