On the auspicious day of October 2, 2022, Prabhat Pheri was taken out enthusiastically by the students in Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya. During this Prabhat Pheri, people were made aware about cleanliness by the students.
Various positive competitions were organized by the Department of Tourism Management on the occasion of World Tourism Day 2022 in the university. The competition for positive change in the students was made in accordance with the dignity of the university and its mission. Discipline, time management, program management, management efficiency, affinity, and cooperation The promotion of qualities like respect was the main result of World Tourism Day.
Simultaneously, on the occasion of the Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya competition series and World Tourism Day, a total of 10 types of competitions were organized under Online Dev Sanskriti Awards. Many other competitions like painting competition, rangoli competition, self-written poetry writing competition, web designing competition, and essay writing were also organized.
On the last day of the program, the respected Pro-Vice Chancellor sir came as the chief guest. His address, Respected Pro-Vice Chancellor, made the students aware of how to improve India’s tourist places. On this occasion all the staff members including the head of the department were present.
Under the Swavalambi Bharat Abhiyan, the program of Entrepreneurship Award ceremony was organized in ShriRam Bhawan Auditorium of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya. Experienced professors of the Faculty of Rural Management and Sustainable Development, who have done remarkable work in the field of self-reliance, rural development and entrepreneurship, such senior professors were also awarded Entrepreneur Protsahan Samman.
In the presence of Shri Satish ji (All India co-organization Swadeshi Jagran Manch), Dr. Rajiv (Region Convenor Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand Swadeshi Jagran Manch) and Shri Rajkumar ji (India Campaign Committee, Haridwar) and other dignitaries, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya Respected Dr Chinmay Pandya Ji presided over the program.
Shri Satish Kumar Ji inspired the youth to work in the field of self-entrepreneurship and respected Dr Chinmay Pandya Ji guided the youth with reference to the practical and spiritual concept of global opportunity, self-reliance and the right definition of success.
Shri Noone Balraj Ji’s family arrived on the university campus from the Central BJP Coordinator (TS) and Incharge, BJP Headquarters, New Delhi. On the arrival of his family, Honourable Balraj ji met Respected Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dr Chinmay Pandya ji. Also visited the university campus. He also appreciated the activities going on at the university.
National Service Scheme Day was celebrated with full enthusiasm in Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya. The National Service Scheme was implemented in 37 universities by the then Education Minister of India, Dr VKRV Rao, on 24 September 1969, during Gandhi’s centenary year. At that time there were 40 thousand volunteers in the NSS. Its main objective is to develop the personality and character of the students as well as make them aware of the service of the nation.
The number of its cadets has increased manifold since its inception and according to the official website of NSS, at present, there are 38 lakh volunteers in the country.
On this occasion, the unit of the National Service Scheme organized various competitions and launched awareness campaigns. Intellectual program and prize distribution were done in the evening, in which all the volunteers got the guidance of the respected Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the university, Dr Chinmay Pandya Ji. Respected Pro-Vice-ChancellorvSir inspired the volunteers to work with full seriousness and enthusiasm for this year’s theme ‘Drug-Free Uttarakhand – Sanskar Yukt Uttarakhand’. He further said that drug de-addiction is essential not only for Uttarakhand but for the whole of India and Gayatri Parivar is working on this for the last fifty years through more than five thousand centres spread across the world.
At the end of the program, the respected Pro-Vice-Chancellor and respected Registrar ji awarded the winners of the competitions.
In this program the coordinators of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya unit of National Service Scheme and all the program officers were present.
Students of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya got a chance to present their candidacy in the 12th Bharatiya chhatra sansad. In this, students Alokmani Sharma, Sanjana Kavidayal, Hemanandan Sharma were selected. Of these, Hemanandan Sharma and Sanjana Kavidayal got the privilege of keeping their thoughts at the national level as “student speakers” in the main program.
Alokmani Sharma is an alumnus speaker of the 11th Indian Student Parliament (Bharatiya chhatra sansad). On this occasion, the Respected Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dr Chinmay Pandya ji met the students and encouraged them.
Let us tell you that this Bharatiya chhatra sansad – Indian Student Parliament is the largest ever youth student parliament organized by MIT WPU Pune Maharashtra. In which about ten thousand students from more than 420 universities of India do participation.
Will. H.G., Associate Dean of Cantrell Michigan Tech University visited the University campus. On his arrival, he met the respected Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Dr Chinmay Pandya Ji. Topics such as how AI applications help solve the challenges of Earth and Atmospheric Science and sustainable development without a zero carbon footprint were discussed during the interview.
Zero Emission Day was celebrated on 21 September 2022 by the Department of Environmental Science. Various interesting competitions were organized by the students of the department.
The program started with the lighting of the lamp by Dr Arunesh Parashar and the teachers of the department in front of the Kulpita and Kulmata Ji.
After this, the graduating children gave some interesting information about Zero Emission Day through a quiz competition and how carbon emissions are polluting our environment nowadays. How carbon footprint can be reduced through quiz competition by all the students and also through a documentary related to this, know about carbon footprint in detail.
All the students enthusiastically participated in this entire program. All the teachers and students of the department were present in this program.
The head of the All World Gayatri Pariwar and the patroness of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, Shraddhaya Shailbala Pandya ji was honoured by the Priyadarshini Academy in the ’38th Global Award Ceremony’.
