You are warmly invited to attend the Fourth Annual International Festival on Yog Culture and Spirituality. Taking place over the course of five days, this symposium will offer presentations, workshops, and practice sessions on the spiritual practices and healing arts of the ancestral India. These will include Yoga, Pranayama, Pragya Pranic Healing, Acupressure, Ayurvedic Panchkarma, Naturopathy, Yagya Therapy, Deep Yagna and Deep Daan. Interactive presentations on these subjects will be offered by eminent national and International authorities.
The Festival will be structured in such a way as to facilitate the exchange of ideas, practices, and philosophies between festival attendees.
Additional goals include:
• assimilating the knowledge on the yogic sciences onto a single platform.
• developing practices of various yogic disciplines for common disorders.
• sharing the benefits of various alternative therapies.
• cultivating an understanding of the importance of Indian Culture in the contemporary world.
• developing a more complete understanding of the role of spiritual principles in building a better society.
Indian culture is described as one of the first cultures in the world sweeping over 5000 years old with lots of diversity in it. The current resurgence of practices of spiritual and healing arts is preserving the roots of Indian culture and helping to share them with the world. The central theme of this culture was to see the entire world as the manifestation of self and these vary insights are providing solutions to the problems of modern era. Yoga is such a practice, originated in Vedas. Sage Patanjali systematized this truth, which maintains a state of mental and physical equilibrium under all circumstances. After the exposure of Science of yoga by Swami Vivekananda to the Western World, yoga in its most efficient way is adopted for the holistic development. Yoga along with Complementary & Alternative Medicine System (CAM) is being used for the treatment for various disorders.
Refinement of the Human consciousness by elimination of evil tendencies & the focus on self-realization were given prominence in the spiritual texts. In real sense, inculcating and imbibing higher values within is spirituality. The purity of the intrinsic faith and the arousal of the inner sentiments are important for the realization of divinity. The need is to alleviate the suffering of human beings around the Globe to make this a better place to live.
